Hi, I’m Sandra Vazquez, a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) supervised by Ana Barnson, LPC-S. I am originally from San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, and have been residing in East Texas since 2009.
For more than two years, I have had the privilege of serving survivors of family violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and other violent crimes through my full-time work at a local non-profit in East Texas. Counseling is a calling and a gift that I deeply value. In therapy, I strive to create a safe space by honoring each person’s wholeness and grounding my work in approaches such as polyvagal and attachment theory. I am also an EMDR-trained clinician.
In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, running, and taking nature walks. I also love traveling and nurturing important areas of my life, including spirituality.
We are all made for safety and connection, and I believe everyone deserves to experience this, especially through healing and personal growth. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
