I am a bilingual counseling student intern pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at Tyler, with plans to graduate in December 2025. Originally from Mount Vernon, TX, I’ve been connected to the Tyler area since I was young, and I’m excited to serve this vibrant community.
My passion for counseling began in high school when I witnessed the profound impact of active listening and compassionate support. This early interest and my curiosity about the brain and human behavior inspired me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and embark on a career dedicated to mental health.
Over the years, I’ve gained valuable knowledge through my academic journey and continued to expand my skills through specialized training. My experience working in daycares has given me unique insights into the needs of children, fostering my interest in play, art, and music therapy.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, working out, and being outdoors when the weather is warm and sunny.
As a counselor, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring your goals and growth. I look forward to building a strong therapeutic relationship with you and helping you navigate your journey toward healing and fulfillment.
