My name is Aranza Cardenas. I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) supervised by Ana Branson, LPC-S. Since 2020, I have had the privilege to serve the East Texas Community by supporting and advocading trauma survivors of child abuse.
After obtaining my license as a professional counselor, I am continuing to work full-time with survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), incorporating trauma-informed care for children and their families.
In Sense of Self, I serve children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating traumatic experiences and life's challenges. In therapy, I love to incorporate creativity, expression, movement, sandtray, and play. I want to continue providing my clients a safe space where they can feel seen, heard, and cared for.
I am from Mexico, and at 18, I moved to the United States to pursue my career in counseling. Outside the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband and being creative, enjoying nature, and gardening. I am passionate about my work and everything that I do.
